Frequently Asked Questions

Liquid6

What do the flashing lights indicate on the Liquid6 device when charging?

The light tip of our Liquid 6 device indicates the charge status of the device.

Indications:

  • When the battery is low, the light tip will flash 10 times indicating a charge is needed. Please note: when the battery is fully exhausted the light tip will no longer illuminate.
  • The light tip will light up when the device is charging and will remain illuminated during charging.
  • When the device is fully charged, the light tip will flash 10 times indicating a full charge has been reached. The light tip will then turn off. If the Liquid 6 device is plugged in to an active USB port and the light tip is not lit, it is fully charged.

The light tip on our Liquid6 device will flash when your battery has been depleted. The haptic feedback feature on our Liquid9 will pulse multiple times, indicating the battery is close to running out. See FAQs for Liquid6 pulse indicators & Liquid9 pulse indicators for more information.

We recommend charging your battery regularly to ensure the best experience. Ensure your battery is fully charged by regularly charging it after use.

The halo at the end of the Liquid6 device will light up, and remain lit, while the device is charging. Once the device has finished charging, the light tip will pulse 10 times indicating a full charge has been reached, and then the pulsing will stop.

It depends how long and how often you use it. A Liquid 6 battery will usually provide enough energy to vape a half gram cartridge on a single charge.

A typical Li-ion battery will lose 20% of its capacity after 300 full cycles. It will continue to supply the same power, but will not last as long between charges.

It depends. Many calculations go into determining how many puffs an individual cartridge will provide. The duration of your inhalation and the type of plant derived extract used each contribute. We cannot guarantee the number of puffs available with each of our products.

Our Liquid6, Liquid9, LiquidX and Palm vaporizer batteries allow activations with a maximum duration of 10 seconds.

Liquid9

Our Liquid9 device uses haptic feedback to indicate when the device is in use. The vibration indicator is felt as soon as inhalation starts. Additional pulses help to indicate the status of the battery, and the need to recharge:

  • One pulse = 30% battery capacity remaining
  • Two pulses = 10% battery capacity remaining
  • Halo flashes 5 times = battery expired

If no activation occurs:

  • Rotate mouthpiece to ensure positive connection.
  • Make sure device is charged.
  • Remove cartridge if installed, then clean the contact points on the battery & the cartridge with a cotton swab and small amount of rubbing alcohol.

If your product is within the warranty period and is not working properly, return the device, with the receipt, to the retailer where you purchased it.

The device can be separated from the cartridge to clean the contact points (the top of the battery & the bottom of the cartridge).

  • Remove cartridge and sleeve, then clean the contacts with a cotton swab and a small amount of rubbing alcohol. This will remove any oil or debris that may affect the contact points.
  • Avoid dropping the device.
  • Avoid exposure to moisture.
  • Do not attempt to repair or modify the device.

LiquidX

No. Our disposable vaporizer platform, the LiquidX, does not require recharging.

It depends. Many calculations go into determining how many puffs an individual cartridge will dispense. The duration of your inhalation and the type of plant derived extract used each contribute. We cannot guarantee the number of puffs available with each of our products.

Our Liquid6, Liquid9, LiquidX and Palm vaporizer batteries allow activations with a maximum duration of 10 seconds.

We oversized the battery in the LiquidX platform to ensure that all of the liquid would be vaporized before the battery was depleted. It depends how long and how often you use it.

All Li-ion battery cells used in Jupiter products meet the requirements of UN38.3, ensuring they are safe for air transportation. All Jupiter products include short-circuit protection that disables the output if a short is detected. Rechargeable products include on-board charging control to protect the cell from overcharging if they are accidentally charged with an adapter from another brand.

At Jupiter Research we have done our best to develop cartridges compatible with as many batteries as possible. We use a standard 510 thread and include two air flow paths in the base; one for breath actuated batteries and one for button actuated batteries.

Although these considerations have been made, we cannot guarantee our cartridges are compatible with every battery available on the market today or the in the future.

All cartridges may leak when transported from a lower elevation to a higher elevation. The degree of leakage depends on how full the cartridge is, how large the increase in elevation, and how rapidly the elevation change.

To prevent leakage, store the cartridge with the mouthpiece pointing downward during large elevation changes or air travel.

Federal Aviation Laws dictate transport or use of legal and illegal substances and pharmaceuticals. Visit the FAA website for more information. Travel at your own risk.
