We are looking for a talented research associate who will work with research professionals who are thought leaders in the Internet industry. You will be on the front lines of digital media and Internet marketing, advertising and commerce. And you will learn and polish your research, analysis skills and communication.

• Write 6 to 12 research reports from guidance developed by senior research staff
• Conduct interviews with industry executives
• Support and participate in client inquiry sessions
• Track and compile information about Web site features & functions in key consumer categories such as retail, travel, healthcare, automotive, financial services, media
• Compile base data for use in creating market forecasts
• Create client-ready PowerPoint presentations
• Coordinate, attend and follow up from interviews with industry executives for senior research staff
• Take notes during interviews and vendor briefings

• 2-3 years' work experience in Internet commerce
• A fierce intellectual curiosity about the impact of the Internet and new consumer technologies on global commerce
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, analytic ability
• First-rate critical thinking & data analysis ability
• Strong detail orientation
• Strong collaboration skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects at one time
• Ability to work successfully as part of a team and independently
• Strong Internet research skills, voracious reader
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite - particularly excel, powerpoint
• Actual store retail experience a plus.
• BA, MBA preferred
